Substitute Teaching Opportunities

Substitute teachers must contact the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio (ESCCO) PRIOR to working for the Gahanna-Jefferson Public School District (GJPS). Click on the links below for more information:

If you are a new substitute teacher to our district, and have been approved by the ESCCO, please know that you will be paid directly from Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools (GJPS), so you must complete payroll forms and be approved by the Gahanna-Jefferson Board of Education. Please download and print the GJPS payroll packet. After completing all requested information, submit the packet either in person or by mail to the Gahanna-Jefferson Administrative Offices, 160 S. Hamilton Road, Gahanna, OH 43230. You are also welcome to scan the forms to SnedakerJ@GJPS.org or fax them to (614) 478-5568. All communication should be directed to the attention of Jan Snedaker, Human Resources Secretary.

If you are a returning substitute, please print the Letter of Reasonable Assurance and return it to Jan Snedaker (contact information above).
