Welcome back! Your child’s 2016-2017 enrollment will continue for the 2017-2018 school year. There is no need to re-enroll, with the exception of a sibling attending Gahanna-Jefferson for the first time. Here's how to update your Home Access Center information, for the current school year.
New student enrollment
Are you new to the Gahanna-Jefferson Public School district this school year?
Welcome! Enrolling is fast, easy, and eco-friendly with our online K-12 enrollment process for students new to GJPS. The three-step process provides families an opportunity to review and submit much of the required information in advance, without having to complete multiple forms by hand - regardless of family size!
With a personal e-mail, families can create a secure Gahanna-Jefferson online enrollment access key to enter their student information. The system will then prompt them to schedule an appointment with a representative of the GJPS Welcome Center at Clark Hall for a brief review of any of the items required for enrollment. Please keep in mind to attend Gahanna-Jefferson schools you must have a permanent resident within the school district, in accordance with ORC 3313.64.
Review, determine, and compile the applicable items required for enrollment. Required items include, but are not limited to: a photo ID of the parent/guardian, birth certificate, custody documentation ( if applicable,) residency verification, and immunizations record.
Here's how to navigate through the online enrollment process. Click the Online Entry - START button (left) to create a secure Gahanna-Jefferson online enrollment access key for your family. Follow the prompts, entering the requested information. ( Your application must be completed within 30 days to avoid deletion due to inactivity.)

Gahanna-Jefferson Schools are preparing to welcome and register Gahanna children, who will be 5-years-old on or before Aug. 1, for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year!
PLEASE NOTE: Enrollment/registration for kindergarten students is not available until Feb. 28.
The Gahanna-Jefferson Public School district offers an outstanding preschool program that serves children with disabilities and also provides an educational opportunity for typical developing children to serve as social and academic peer models. Enrollment of peer models is open to children of district residents and staff members of GJPS through an application process. Peers must also be 4 years old by Dec. 1.
PLEASE NOTE: Enrollment/registration for preschool students for the 2017-18 school year is not available until March 13.
If you are interested in registering your child as a preschool peer model for the current 2016-17 school year, please contact Judy Floit, (614) 337-3777. You will be asked to provide a valid email address as communication for enrollment will be conducted primarily through email.

'Child Find Campaign'
The GJPS Child Find campaign seeks to identify, locate and evaluate all children with disabilities – from age 3 through 21 – residing within the district’s attendance boundaries. The campaign also seeks out those who may be homeless, wards of the state, or attending nonpublic schools.
If you know of a child with a disability, or have a child suspected of having a disability, who is not currently receiving appropriate educational or related services, please contact the GJPS Office of Special Education at 614-337-3777.
