Gahanna Lincoln/Gahanna Community School Pride Open House Showcase

The Gahanna Lincoln HS and the Gahanna Community School administrative team will host a Pride Showcase for families Mon., Sept. 10, 2012, beginning at 7 p.m.

GLHS Student Council members will be positioned in various spots around the campus to assist families navigate the building and to find a classroom(s). Representatives from the GLHS PTO will also be on hand to assist.

The event provides families the opportunity to experience first-hand the GLHS community, meet with faculty, counselors, advisers, coaches, and other parents while following a condensed version of their student's daily class schedule.

Please ask your student to complete this form to assist with your tour of the campus. (An additional class schedule can be made available from the LHS Guidance Office during this time.)

During a scheduled study hall or lunch period, families are invited to return to the main lobby for light refreshments or visit the school's library/media center or the guidance office to learn about additional academic and college resources.

Sign-up sheets will be available in each classroom for parents to schedule a formal Parent/Teacher Conference with their son or daughter’s teacher(s) on Oct. 1,  or Oct. 18, 2012.

If you are unable to attend either night of the October  Open House events, but wish to pre-schedule a conference, please contact GLHS Secretary Effie Johnson at 614-478-5500 after 8:30 a.m., Mon., Sept. 17, 2012.
