GLHS Bands Presents Prism Concert of Enigmatic Works

The Gahanna Lincoln HS Concert Bands will host its popular Prism Concert 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, in the school's auditorium.  The concert will feature performances by the Freshman Band, the Blue Band, the Gold Band and several solos and chamber ensembles. Admission is free.

A prism concert creates an intimate musical setting by having each of the performing student groups placed in various locations in the auditorium and rotate sets throughout the evening. Because the music is continuous, it makes for an interesting and fast-moving event. The afternoon performance will also feature some of Gahanna Bands finest soloists and small groups, including every section of the band from woodwinds to brass to percussion.
