2012-13 GJPS Child Find Campaign

2012-13 Child Find Campaign
An Education for All

As required by the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Section 504 and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEA), the Gahanna-Jefferson Special Education Office conducts an ongoing Child Find campaign to identify, locate and evaluate all children with disabilities - from birth through age 21 - residing within the school district. The campaign also seeks out those who may be homeless, wards of the state, or attending nonpublic schools.

If you know of a child with a disability, or have a child suspected of having a disability, who is not currently receiving appropriate educational or related services, please contact the GJPS Office of Special Education at 614-337-3777.
