Marching Band Performs at OSU Buckeye Invitational

GLHS Marching Band selected for the 2012 OSU Buckeye Invitational
Look for the Lions to March Within The Shoe at 4:30 p.m., Sat., Oct. 13

Image: GLHS Marching BandThe GLHS Golden Lions Marching Band has been selected to perform at the 2012 Buckeye Invitational Sat., Oct. 13, 2012, in The Ohio State University stadium.

The event begins at 10 a.m., with the Golden Lions performing at approximately 4:30 p.m.

The Invitational features high school marching bands from throughout the state of Ohio. Advance tickets are $11 and are available by clicking here, as well as available at the gate for $14.00 each.

The 2012-13 GLHS Marching Band participants will have the opportunity to not only experience a performance by the OSU Marching Band - up close and personal - but to reunite with eight GLHS alumni who are now members of the OSU Marching Band.

Thur., Oct.25, 2012, The GLHS Marching Band will host its annual marching pops concert in the front gymnasium at GLHS at 7:30 PMAdmission is free. Accompanied by the GLHS Color Guard, the evening will feature performances and routines from the 2012 season.  The program will be recorded by the music department and available for sale.
