Vote! Six GJPS Make A Difference Grant Nominees

The NBC4 Make A Difference School Grant program has nominated six Gahanna-Jefferson programs or schools for an opportunity to win one of three $10,000 grants. The four competition categories are: Think, Serve, Shine, and Connect.

While many of our schools entered, currently, High Point Elementary has the best chance of winning!  Please help us help the GJPS community by voting for High Point Elementary.  Voting ends March 7th at midnight.  Please ask your friends and neighbors to help GJPS as well.

The nominated G-J programs or schools (with direct links to vote) are:  •   Jefferson ES – Beyond Books  •   Jefferson ES – Composing Scene Investigation (writing) •   High Point ES – FIT for Life •   GLHS – One-Room Schoolhouse   •   GLHS – Threatre Program/Fringe Festival / Edinburgh, Scotland •   Gahanna Middle School South – STEM Classes

These grants will help provide additional resources for academic and extracurricular school programs that provide Gahanna-Jefferson students further opportunities to grow and develop. Everyone can vote once, daily, for each, through Thursday, March 7, 2013. The schools or programs within the four competition categories receiving the most overall votes are entered as a finalist.

Additional Ways to Vote

1. Go to NBC4MakeADifference.com, click the Vote tab, and search for the Gahanna-Jefferson program or school listed above.
2. Visit the NBC4 Facebook Fan Page, click on the Make A Difference Grant logo, within a pop-up window, click the Vote tab and search for the Gahanna-Jefferson program or school listed above.

From the pool of finalist, three will then be selected to receive a grant. Current and future students alike will benefit from your votes! Program officials will announce the three top grand prize winners May 16, 2013.
