2017-18 kindergarten registration
Gahanna-Jefferson Schools are preparing to welcome and register children who will be five years old on or before Aug. 1, 2017.
Kindergarten registration for the 2017-2018 school year is a two-part process:
- Welcome Center - Families need to complete enrollment paperwork at an enrollment appointment at the Welcome Center at Clark Hall. You can schedule an appointment online.
- Kindergarten Round-Up - Participate in a Kindergarten Round-Up session at your child’s elementary school! Kindergarten Round-Up is an opportunity for kindergarten students and their parents or guardians to become acquainted with their school and for school personnel to complete screenings with each child, such as vision, hearing, and basic preschool skills.
We will be having a kindergarten parent information meeting at Middle School West on Mon., Feb. 27 at 6:30 p.m. This meeting will give you all the details about getting registered for kindergarten. The meeting will be followed by an opportunity to meet representatives from district departments and community resources.
Starting Feb. 28, you can schedule an appointment with the Welcome Center to complete your enrollment paperwork. You will complete most of your enrollment online.
If needed, computers to complete the enrollment forms are available at the public library or in the lobby of Clark Hall. You will also be asked to attend a school based “Round-Up” session with your child later in the spring:
