The Gahanna-Jefferson summer school "Journey to Learning" program for grades Pre-Kindergarten to fourth will run from June 5 through June 29, 8 a.m. to 12 noon.  Classes for grades 5-8 will run June 5 through June 29, 8:10 a.m. to 12:10 p.m.  For grades 9-11, new credit classes, Physical Education and Health will begin May 30, and Speech will begin June 26. Make-up credit classes are June 5 – June 23.

The "Journey to Learning" program offers a variety of classes for students pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. There are programs for intervention, remediation, and enrichment.  High school new and make-up credit classes are also offered. Parents can obtain descriptions of the classes, schedules, a list of fees, and registration forms at the Gahanna-Jefferson Public School District’s website by going to this link: www.gahannaschools.org. Two-hour classes for Reading and Math Improvement for grades Pre-K to 4 will be at Goshen Lane Elementary, located at 370 Goshen Lane.  Two hour classes for Language Arts and Math Improvement classes for grades 5-8 will be at Royal Manor Elementary, located at 299 Empire Drive.

        

For those without Internet access, summer school information and registration materials are available for grades Pre-K-4 at each elementary school, for grades 5-8 at each elementary and middle school, and for grades 9-11 at each middle school and at Lincoln High School. 

The registration deadline is Wed., May 31 for most classes.
