GLHS Academic Awards of Distinction

Each year, GLHS honors deserving students who have achieved excellence in their academic responsibilities.

Academic Awards of Distinction are earned based on the following criteria:

9th Grade: 3.9 GPA cumulative after one semester
10th Grade: 3.8 GPA cumulative after three semesters
11th Grade: 3.7 GPA cumulative after five semesters
12th Grade: 3.6 GPA cumulative after seven semesters

This year 733 students earned an Academic Award of Distinction!
148 Freshmen
146 Sophomores
189 Juniors
249 Seniors

99 seniors received a plaque for earning the award all four years of high school.

Those who earned this award were invited to a recognition program during the day on March 1, 2023.
