Welcome to Royal Manor Elementary, a caring school where every student is valued, supported, and loved. As principal, my favorite part of what I do each day is creating and building relationships with our students and their families. It is an honor to serve and support every family who walks through our doors.

Royal Manor is a richly diverse school filled with many cultures, languages, and beliefs. We take pride in who we are as individuals and as a school family. Together, we recognize and celebrate the things that make us different and the things we have in common.

Our teachers go above and beyond to give our students what they need. Our goal is to help our students become a better version of themselves. Teachers provide individualized instruction that focuses on strengths and various learning styles. We are dedicated to creating and maintaining a learning environment with high expectations for all students.

It is my firm belief and experience that success at school happens when teachers, students, and parents work together as a team. When our students see the teamwork happening between school and home, they are empowered to reach high levels of social, emotional, and academic success. I look forward to working with your family and helping your child through a team-based approach!

Our Focus

Our instructional practices align with State of Ohio Content Standards and National Standards. Standards-based education clearly defines academic content standards providing the basis for content and process in instruction and assessment. It ensures that students learn what is important, and aims for a higher, deeper level of understanding in what students should know and be able to do. Our recent focus on quality approaches has enabled us to use the latest research methods in a systematic way to meet the needs of each child and differentiate the learning experiences for all. This includes appropriate intervention programs, individual instruction, after-school classes, enrichment courses or summer tutorials.

Curriculum & Technology

At the elementary level, students are immersed in art, health, language arts (including reading), math, music, physical education, science and social studies. The curriculum meets and/or exceeds standards established for state-required achievement testing, which is administered in the third-, fourth- and fifth-grades. Extended Day Kindergarten for selected students provides intervention in the area of literacy. Identified students attend a regular kindergarten program in the morning and participate in a specialized afternoon session that targets reading, language and writing skill development.

At Royal Manor Elementary, the goal is for student to become technology literate. Technology is integrated into lesson plans and student learning. Technology standards, based on the state standards, provide concepts that are embedded within all curricular areas. This curricular integration involves the infusion of technology as a tool to enhance learning in content areas.
