Each year the Gahanna-Jefferson Public School district offers a wide variety of summer courses for students-preschool through high school-as part of the “Journey to Learning” program. There are programs for intervention/remediation, high school credit and make-up classes.

  • Cross Categorical classroom is also available (grades K-5).
  • Summer classes for English language learners are available for grades K-12.
  • Information about additional summer enrichment opportunities will be posted soon.
  • Transportation is provided for GJPS students that were in grades 1-8 during the 2021-22 school year. We can’t transport students for preschool, pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, or high school classes.
  • The federal food service program is not available during the summer months; however, many community-based organizations may provide similar services.
  • All classes require minimum enrollment in order to be offered.
  • The deadline to enroll for most classes is Wednesday, June 1. No registrations will be accepted after the deadline.
