Dear GJPS Families,

Effective Tuesday, September 8, 2020, all K-12 students enrolled in Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools will be able to receive one free breakfast and one free lunch for each school day as part of our weekly Grab & Go Meal program. This is a temporary opportunity based on the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) funding and waivers, allowing GJPS to offer meals at no charge to all K-12 students. These temporary free school meal waivers could last 2-4 months. We will communicate in advance when the free meals for all students will be discontinued.

Lunches include favorite items such as popcorn chicken, pizza, corn dogs, stuffed cheese sticks, and fresh fruits and vegetables. Your children will be delighted with breakfast too! Menus and nutritional information are available on our website. Here’s a peek at the week of September 14 menu!

In order to receive free school meals for your children, please complete the Free School Meal Order Form. This is a one-time, four week order for your convenience. Meals must be ordered by Thursday at noon to be picked up the following Monday.

You may order meals to pick up at five locations and two convenient times:

Lincoln High School 11:00am-12:30pm or 4-6pm
Jefferson Elementary 11:00am-12:30pm
Middle School West 11:00am-12:30pm
Goshen Lane Elementary 11:00am-12:30pm
Royal Manor Elementary 11:00am-12:30pm

Future pickup dates are Mondays Sept 14, Sept 21, Sept 28, and Oct 5.
If you have students attending multiple schools, you may pick up meals for all students in one location (please indicate pick up location on the form).

We will communicate again regarding school meals before our transition into hybrid learning.
