Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools provides high-quality learning experiences to more than 8,000 students, encouraging creativity and preparing our graduates for careers, college and beyond. Our more than 8,000 students come to us from a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives.

GJPS students identify more than 55 languages that are spoken in their home, with 14.9 percent of our students speaking another language or living in a home where another language is spoken. The 10 most spoken world languages in our District are Amharic, Arabic, French, Hindi, Nepali, Somali, Spanish, Tigrinya, Twi and Urdu.

In addition to the variety of languages spoken by our students, they also represent a wide array of cultures and backgrounds. At GJPS, all students are welcome.
