Phase Two Overview
In November of 2020, voters in the Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools district approved a 10.69 mills bond and operating levy to fund Phase Two of the GJPS Master Facilities Plan.
PHASE TWO OF THE MASTER FACILITIES PLAN INCLUDES:
Additions and Renovations to High Point and Blacklick Elementary
Space for an additional 225 students in each building.
New Lincoln High School on Current Site
Space for an additional 600+ students.
Operating Funds
Filling the gap created by state cuts, increased technology costs and additional staffing due to enrollment growth.
Blacklick and High Point Floor Plans
The floor plans for each school include:
- Ten additional classrooms
- New gymnasium
- Extended cafeteria space
- Increased small group spaces
- More storage areas
- Additional music and art spaces
