Quality Profile

Gahanna-Jefferson Community,

I am proud to present to you the 2023 Quality Profile for Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools (GJPS). A quality profile is a school district’s way to help data come to life and share with its community the achievements of students and staff from the prior school year.

When I meet with our community, I often hear that neighbors who do not have children in school may not always be aware of our accomplishments as a District, particularly since we no longer have a local, community newspaper. Therefore, for the first time, we are mailing our quality profile to every home in our District’s attendance area. During the second semester, you will also receive our Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) that will go into detail on the finances of our District.

I hope you will take time to review this year’s quality profile and join me in celebrating the many aspects of a high quality, public education that are brought forward here. We are proud to offer a robust curriculum to each student who attends Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools. We offer a variety of courses, particularly at Gahanna Lincoln High School, to match the diversity and interests of our students. Our rigorous academics are preparing our students for success in and beyond the classroom.

• 4 career technical satellite programs offered at GLHS through Eastland-Fairfield Career and Technical Center
• 16 honors courses offered at Gahanna Lincoln High School
• 17 AP classes offered at Gahanna Lincoln High School
• 210+ course offerings for students to choose from at Gahanna Lincoln High School
• 557 college courses taken by 235 students in grades 7-12
• 1018 average SAT composite score

 

• 591 middle school students taking high school courses for credit
• 941 middle school students earned honor roll with a 3.5 cumulative GPA
