Central Office and Maintenance Buildings Moving

The Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools Central Office and Maintenance buildings will be moving to new locations this summer to allow for more space for parking on the high school site.
Our Central Office will be in a portion of the second floor of the office building at 630 Morrison Road, Suite 200, as a result of a three-year lease that the District has entered into. Our Central Office will be closed to the public May 29-30 to allow our staff to move locations. The last day our Central Office will be open at 160 S. Hamilton Road is May 28 and we will reopen on May 31 at our new location, 630 Morrison Road.
The GJPS Maintenance building is also on the move, scheduled to begin occupying the old Purdy Electric building at 2510 Englewood Drive, just off of Johnstown Road during the month of May. This new space will allow our staff to continue providing efficient and high quality service to all of our buildings.
Once both of the current buildings are vacated, they will be abated and demolished. Over the summer, the footprint of those buildings will become approximately 175 additional parking spots on the high school site to continue to alleviate parking needs in the area.
